Capture Symposium was a Success!
Participants demonstrated active interest, and they left with the best impressions.
The purpose of the symposium was to inform companies on how Automatic Identification, Optical Recognition and Filing of Documents (part of the solution inteliCapture) can provide significant time savings and quality assurance, assists in the adoption of document management systems, optimizing productivity, safety management, and safeguarding against disasters.
In this way, service companies, a very important sector of the Cyprus economy by utilizing these technologies can become more competitive in the international market.
More than one hundred company representatives attended the Symposium, from the following areas:

• Legal - Lawyers
• Product Distribution
• Shipping and Maritime
• Insurance
• Banking
• Government
Mr. Louis Eliades, Managing Director of inteli-scape, presented our vision and how the solutions for Document Recognition and Management are currently used by other customers to improve their company productivity.
A live demonstration was held, showcasing the optical recognition, extraction of data and documents (such as Certificate Registrar of Companies, Bank Statements, Invoices, and others), and their automatic filing into the Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise Content Management System (ECM). The Microsoft Dynamics Navision Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) was also updated with links to data and documents filed in the ECM.
inteliCapture provides business users with the ability to automatically file data and documents into the appropriate folders with all the necessary characteristics (type of document, fields, security). All the user has to do is to place the documents on a regular scanner and press the scan button. The power to search and manage documents is them unleashed.
At the lunch that followed, we discovered that many companies are actively seeking for a solution on their document management challenge on how to capture documents. The feedback we received was that inteliCapture is the answer their challenge.
